13:30-13:35 Introduction

13:35-13:50 How to determine MDS risk  (note:  based on both disease and patient characteristics, including frailty, social network etc)

13:50-14:10 Treatment of lower risk MDS (note: including novel drugs, advance care planning)

14:10-14:30 Treatment of higher risk MDS (note: including novel drugs, advance care planning, post-SCT management)

14:30 – 14:45 Break

Part 2

14:45-15:45 Case discussion

Participants are asked to prepare 1 case, focusing on (e.g.) managing side effects of treatment, managing patients with multiple/severe comorbidities, how to help caregivers of patients.
